A raw, playful and darkly funny theatre show that cracks open the world of a woman haunted by the voices that told her she was never enough. Blending clown, character work and storytelling, Jess leads the audience through the chaos of a mind pushed to breaking point and the slow, stubborn climb back to herself. Expect sharp humour, surprising tenderness and a host of unruly characters who refuse to stay quiet.

Highly relatable and absolutely ridiculous, this is a show about shame, transformation and the power of speaking the truth out loud. Bitch On The Mic invites you to witness what happens when a woman stops running from her past and steps into the light to dance with it instead. It’s a celebration of resilience, rebellion and the freedom that comes when you finally tell your inner critic to sit down and shut up. Expect a rollercoaster of emotion, powerful messages and personal insights.

REVIEWS

Audience Reviews for Jess' performance of The Belle Ends at Sweet Fest:

Helen Croydon, Author & Writing Coach

"Creative genius. Not only was it hilarious and high energy, but it also addressed a deeper and poignant question of modern life – what is holding us all back? It’s rare that comedy can touch deep nerves and move and spark thought as much as laughter, but this one did so brilliantly!"

Sarah Weiler, coach & comedian

"Inside Out for Adults. All these characters are perfect for an Edinburg Show!"

Cherry Jordan, Production Manager and COO

"A brilliant, funny, and thought-provoking piece"

Jude Schweppe, business owner
"The perfect mix of extraordinary insight and wit! Her interpretations of our 'inner bitches' hit the nail on the head - hilarious demons, waiting in the shadows to jump out at us any minute but also eccentric and sometimes scary characters, personifying exactly what so many people have to deal with on a daily basis."
