Out of the Bin is an interactive theatre piece that transforms the overlooked rubbish scattered across our streets into sound, movement and art — revealing stories of homelessness that too often go unnoticed.

Blending physical play, object manipulation and audience involvement, the performance dives into the everyday waste we discard without thought. Rubbish is produced endlessly, yet for some, a bin becomes a place of survival — even an unexpected source of hope. Through these fragments, the piece uncovers moments of resilience, humour and humanity hidden in the corners of our cities.

As discarded objects are reimagined, Out of the Bin questions what happens when something — or someone — society has thrown away suddenly becomes “valuable.” When trash turns into treasure, does the world truly see it differently? And in that shift towards social approval, can a person begin to lose themselves?

Playful, tender and socially urgent, Out of the Bin invites audiences into a world where waste becomes wonder.
