Chet Baker – Let’s Get Lost
Young jazz trumpeter and singer Chet Baker has it all going for him, but Chet has a dark secret.
Suitable for Age 15 +
It is 1956, and Chet Baker is rehearsing for a gig.
A handsome, gifted young jazz trumpeter and vocalist with a haunting voice, Chet has it all, and he is only in his mid-twenties. He is cool, photogenic, talented, and with a dream-like otherworldliness about him.
Everyone wants a part of him. His record sales are huge. He is popular with young girls, housewives and serious jazz enthusiasts, and he has just finished his first movie. He is the laid-back West Coast star that Hollywood, and the public, want to see and hear more of.
But Chet isn’t interested in any of it. He has a secret, and that secret is all Chet cares about. As he prepares for his gig, he is compelled to tell us what that secret is, and how he is about to throw everything away because of it.
