When Daniel is admitted into a rehabilitation centre, he begins speaking through the wall to Alice who is in the next room. The two never meet face to face as they’re on different wards but they bond over their shared journey. However, conflicts arise when differences in commitments develop, and despite them both being in the same boat, it feels as though one is paddling harder than the other.
