do you need therapy?
Missing Link Touring Theatre Showcase 2
Suitable for Age 18 +
Showcase 2: do you need therapy?: This triple bill of solo shows is united by trauma, twisted humour, and a cardinal sense of unease. From dissections to dancing to disturbance… What more could you want?
A dash of insanity, a pinch of foolishness, and a generous amount of family trauma, then stir with caution to create the imperfect cocktail of Slon by Lin Perne. A transgender clown walks into a therapy session… except this joke is No Laughing Matter by Leo Pawlin. Freya Webb’s Lost Souls is not the cathartic piece about grief you were looking for. It is what you see on the news praying it’ll never be you.
Missing Link Touring Theatre is also doing two other showcases at Rotunda Brighton: you should not be here and is this where we're heading?
Warnings: Themes of family trauma, depression, loss, grief and suicide. Showing of psychological experiments. Loud noises. Flashing lights. Audience participation. Transphobia, homophobia, phallic imagery, and nudity.

EXCELLENT SHOW Fringe Review
'At its heart there is just joy onstage'
★★★Binge Fringe
'Burnt Lavender is a beautiful, hard-hitting piece about queer history and celebrating love, balancing the joy with the heartbreak expertly. It is performed with passion by an amazing young company and I look forward to what they do next!'
