Gone To Look For America is a vivid, funny and immersive journey of stories, songs and striking projected music videos exploring the wild soul of the American backroads.

Join Steve Bonham and The Long Road as they delve into outlaw country, desert ghost towns, neon-soaked nights and the extraordinary lives of ordinary people. Drawn from months of trekking and travelling through the southern states, these tales reveal the grit, grace and contradictions of a country forever caught between dream and dust.

Expect powerful acoustic music, big melodies and riffs, warm humour and storytelling that is both intimate and expansive. The projected music videos add atmosphere and colour, pulling the audience into the landscapes and characters that shaped the songs.

At the heart of it all are Steve Bonham - the Vagabond Philosopher - and Chris “The Bishop” Lydon, pianist, composer and fellow wanderer. Two adventurers, many miles and one unforgettable trip into the mythic heart of America.
