A comic exploration of grief. Inspired by a break-up and over 40 interviews gathered via a social media call-out, this one-woman show combines together theatre, physicality, clowning, original music, and projection.
In the wake of a relationship, a woman tries to contain the overflow of her thoughts...
She ends up stuck in a ladder, making out with a komodo dragon, fighting up against house leaks, holes and jam jars- that only seem to multiply.
Deluge puts a magic realist spin on dealing with and overcoming grief. Blurring imagination with real stories.
Running time: 60min

"Very artsy, very meaningful and, yes, replete with expressive dance. And I am totally absorbed."

"An absurd, tender, and life-affirming piece that leaves a lasting impression... I was astounded at Flarys’ broad-ranging vocal and physical abilities."
