The Polish monodrama HE/HIS/HIM tells the story of men – fathers, lovers, entrepreneurs, students, and many others. For the main character, it is an attempt to cope with doubts about what masculinity should look like today. From rapid costume changes, dynamic action, and an attempt to view oneself through the prism of social media emerges the relentless pressure that accompanies a man at every step.

 

The play was created from the statements of many men, from the conversations, memories, and experiences of the author. It combines the rawness of a documentary with the lightness of modern choreography and the hypnotizing sound of original music. It does not try to answer the questions, but makes us realize that we are not alone with them. The play won 3rd place at the MoTyF Monodrama Festival in Tychy in March this year.

 

The play premiered on October 5, 2025, as part of the 5th edition of the "Szklarnia – Inqubator Teatralny" residency within the Art Spaces Łódź – Theatre 2025 program
